Having lived a long and happy life under hedgebookpro.com it was somewhat of a surprise when hedgebook.com became available. While we were able to make operating under hedgebookpro.com make good sense it was a bit of a compromise. Having global brand consistency across our name and domain was the ultimate goal so we snapped up hedgebook.com as soon as we could.
You will definitely be able to find us
It turned out that securing the domain of our dreams was actually the easy part. We are grateful for the guidance of our CTO and Digital Agency for building out a plan to shift from hedgebookpro.com to hedgebook.com with minimal disruption.
However – it is more complex than you ever think. While we are in the fortunate position of being able to easily manage 301 redirects for our website pages it is amazing where the tentacles of hedgebookpro.com extend to.
What it does mean, is that even if you accidentally type in the old url – or click on an existing link – it should still seamlessly take you to the right place on hedgebook.com
Staged move
For now, we have migrated our email and website onto the new domain. It means the public face of Hedgebook is on the most obvious domain for one and all to use – no matter where you are in the world.
We are hoping it means those who hear about Hedgebook will now immediately celebrate ‘hedgebook.com’ and type it in to land on our Home page directly. It also means our team’s email addresses are shorter, easier to spell and remember. The ease of just being able to use a simpler email address will be helpful.
The next stage is to shift everything else across to the new domain. This will take more time and a lot more technical expertise in the backend to ensure a smooth transition for one and all.

So, while it feels good to be living our dream under our new domain we do realise there may still be a few kinks out there we are not aware of – so please let us know if you come across a page that isn’t there or something that isn’t quite working. But in the meantime, we are glad to have our new domain just in time for 2025 to take off.
